Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. - Mark Twain (1835-1910) |
Below is a list of our Communications programs. Click on any of the program links below for more information.
All the above programs are provided in both group workshop settings and on an individual
1-to-1 basis
Imagine what would it be like for you if you could easily connect with everybody you interact with? Always getting your right message across? Imagine having the ability to achieve this whenever you want?
Communication skills are vitally important to developing professional and personal relationships. Relationships begin and grow through communication, and the quality of communication influences the quality of the relationships. Without good communication skills one's effectiveness in all roles in life- professional, leader, manager, parent, friend, spouse, etc.- is limited.
No matter what we do, what we work at, how we live our lives, we do it better if we communicate it better – it’s that simple!
For some of you this may come naturally – unconsciously – to you with everyone you meet – for others it might be a little more difficult. But the good news is that we can all learn to be better communicators. It can come naturally if we simply take an interest in the other person, become curious about who they are and how they think, actively listen to them, listen to the language and the non-verbal signals they use and be willing to see the world from their point of view.
All our Communication programs. go far beyond the obvious – they look at what’s going on behind what’s going on – the difference that makes the difference and appreciating and working with those differences. They incorporate:
- Looking closely at the effective basis of communication – Rapport! Learn strategies and techniques to achieve this every time
- How we interact with the world and gather information using each of our five senses, our sights, sounds, feelings, tastes and smells. We think in pictures, sounds, feelings and words and our senses are reflected in the words we use. Once aware of the senses in our world we can also recognise how others think and communicate thus developing even deeper rapport.
- The ability to take multiple perspectives on any situation, just as when looking at an object from different angles to see its breath, height and depth
- Learning new ways to frame an experience which will lead to other ways of thinking and feeling about it and behaving in relation to it. The way you look at a problem, that is, the frame you give it, can make it easier or harder to solve.
- Giving us a choice in how we react and behave in any situation
- Mastering the skill of being able to give and receive constructive feedback
- And much more!
